Albany Urology Clinic, P.C. (AUC) was established in 1972 by Dr. Carl V. Hancock and Dr. James R. Hattaway. Their goal was to provide comprehensive medical and surgical urological services to men and women in a community setting. William Kelvin Lane, MD, who practiced independently in Albany, joined Doctor's Hattaway and Hancock in 1975. Timothy S. Trulock, MD joined AUC in 1984. Dr. Trulock is board certified in both Adult and Pediatric Urology. Michael D. Daugherty, DO joined AUC in 2002. Scott M. Wendland, DO joined AUC in 2004. Both Doctor's Daugherty and Wendland were instrumental and the first two physicians who performed surgery with the da Vinci robotic surgery in South Georgia at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
